Dewatering Operations
Many structures require excavation below the natural groundwater level, hence dewatering is required. Dewatering is lowering and controlling the natural groundwater to ensure dry, firm, working conditions for construction operations. Groundwater can be controlled by means of a wellpoint system, shallow pumping sumps, and deep wells with submersible pumps.
